Description

The Account Panel gives you options to change the way you appear to others such as nickname, your friend icon, or your comment.

Accessing

  • Click on the Account button on the side of the Settings window.
  • Click on your icon on the Friends List.

Friend Icon

  • Allows you to choose your personal icon, or, upload one of your choice. Format may be gif/png/jpg/bmp.
  • Show my icons to others: Display your icon to other GSC users
  • View other people's icons: Allows you to enable/disable viewing of other users icons
  • Animate icons when possible: If you upload an animated Gif, it will attempt to animate your icon.

Custom Information

  • My nickname is: Enter your desired nickname, for display to other GSC users
  • Show nicknames: This will enable/disable display of nicknames throughout GSC
  • Include a comment with my name in voice servers: This will display a comment under your name on your friends GSC client

Phonetics

  • Specify how your name is heard by other users: Use this to set how your name is pronounced by GSC's integrated text-to-speech processor.
