Description

The 'Launch Game With Parameters' or 'Configure Game' dialog window is very useful for users who want to automatically join their game with information such as your login information and RCON passwords automatically entered so you do not have to bother typing them in yourself. Not all games fully support every option on that page.

Accessing

  • Right-click on a game server and then on Join Server with Parameters
  • On your Friends List, open the Launch menu and then on Game Setup. Choose a game you wish to edit and click Configure to the right.

Notes

  1. If there is a game that currently has extra parameters that GSC does not seem to know (you tested putting your information in the box, but it did nothing), please visit the GSC forums http://forums.getgsc.com/ and tell us the proper args.
  2. There are slight differences between the EditGameParamsDialog for configuring a game and for setting a server's join parameters. This help page is tailored for setting up the server settings.
