Friends and Chat Panel

Description
The Friends and Chat settings panel allows you to change options with person to person chat and buddy list settings.
Accessing
- Open the File menu on the Friends List and click the Settings menu item.
- Click on the Friends and Chat panel when the settings window is open.
Settings
Person to Person Chat
- Log chat history to file: This will save all your chat messages in a file so you can see them at a later time even when the chat window is closed.
- Show timestamps: Timestamps are the time that shows next to each user's name after they send you a message.
- Allow users to send me offline messages: Offline messages are messages a person sends you when you are offline which show up to you when you sign on.
- Hide chat windows while I am ingame: This will not show chat messages in the taskbar if you are not ingame.
- Flash windows upon message: Windows will create an alert in the task bar when you recieve a message.
- Show emoticons: Show graphical images for emoticons rather than just the code for the image.
Network and Memory Options
- Minimize Friends List to System Tray: When you minimize the GSC friends list, it will appear as an icon in your system tray rather than a button on the task bar.
- Display in friends list: You can choose which of these will appear next to a user's name in the friends list.
