Description

The Notifications settings panel allows you to change GSC sound noticiations to be TTS, sound files, or nothing.

Accessing

  • Open the File menu on the Friends List and click the Settings menu item.
  • Click on the Notifications panel when the settings window is open.

Sound Notifications

  • Event: All configurable GSC sound notifications.
  • Notification: Edit what a setting does by choosing Do nothing, TTS, or Play a Sound.
  • Enable Sounds: Enable all GSC sounds.
  • Enable Text-to-speech (TTS): If your OS allows it, you can hear and use TTS in your sound notifications. You can update the TTS speed under this.
  • Time format: Change the way the time is said in certain notifications.

  • This is a list of all things you can put into a TTS notification to produce the result next to it.
